For Shift first open “System Settings”, then “Software Sources”, then under “Mirrors” first click on “Main” and select the faster of the two mirrors. Then click on “Base”, wait for some time and then select the fastest or closest mirror. After that click on “Update Cache”.
Now open a terminal and enter:
sudo apt install –reinstall locales
Once the locales have been reinstalled, go back to “System Settings”, select “Languages”, then click on “Install/Remove Languages”, click on “Add”, then scroll down and select the version of French you need and click on “Install”. The new language should now be shown in the list of the selected languages. It will probably say “some language packs are missing”. Click on that, and then click on “Install Language Packs”. This will now download and install the complete language pack for that Language. You can repeat that for the other installed languages. Once that is finished you can close that window.
Now back in the “Language Settings” window you can select your display language and region locale. After that logout and then back in, or reboot, and if you changed the display language to French, most things should now be shown in French.
For LinDoz the Procedure is similar, except that you can leave the terminal and “sudo apt install –reinstall locales” commands out.

But for make a correction I go to “about:config” ===> general.useragent & correction “us-ENG” to “Fr-FR” but for the choice & changing between T.B or your own mail “trucmachin” I don’t remember his name, sorry 😎 😎 For the moment I continue for use this OS makululu very close of cinnamon. For the moment I have any little trouble for changing anything to using perfect it . If I stay with Makululu why not? Install thunderbird via Synaptic package manager (I use it too). Then once installed, in “System Settings” click on “Preferred Applications”, and under “Mail”, select Thunderbird as the default mail client. Via Synaptic you can also remove the original mail client.

That’s my answer in English that’s all 😎 😎 et avec Firefox 52.7 C’est vraiment très drôle? non ? aller @ + C U soon

I haven’t had any issues so far with the screensaver. Open System Settings and select “Screensaver”. Now you can set the configuration of the screensaver the way you need.
