Which distro are you using ? if you are using lindoz or Max you can right click on the panel and select applets and then just add the clock applet back into the panel. thhen right click “edit” the panel and drag the clock on the panel to where you want it to be,
raymerjacqueKeymasterIll take a look at the login plugin, perhaps ill disable the twitter login plugin. let me first investigate.
raymerjacqueKeymasterYou may want check out our Discord channel, most updates and activity happens there, not many people use forums anymore :
raymerjacqueKeymasterWe really havnt made much documentation at all, Making Electra is an Ongoing process that has taken about 2 years so far. I pretty much have just been making videos showing progress. Im sure at some point we will put up some official documentation, but at this point its just easier to maybe subscribe to our youtube channel and youll be notified of videos we release showing new features. in Fact a video is Due within the next few days and this one will knock your sox off, we have made some massive breakthroughs in the last month or so, there are Huge updates happening on Electra at the moment, including Image and video Generation.

raymerjacqueKeymasterWe use a 3rd party plugin called “social login” i think is the name, its a popular login plugin or wordpress. i will take a look at it, but if you dont like it having access to your twitter posts then i suggest you dont log in with twitter… use something else 😀
raymerjacqueKeymasterill drop you an email 🙂
raymerjacqueKeymasteryou mean the space looking screensaver ? did you search the menu for “screensaver” ? there should be a shortcut to screensaver options in the main menu.
raymerjacqueKeymasterLindoz screensaver is disabled by default, how did you turn it on ? if the default screensaver settings arent working in the settings manager then you must have a third party screen saver protocol installed ? what version of lindoz are you running ?
raymerjacqueKeymasterYou are having install issues on Max D, Max U, Shift U and now X-D… these are all VERY different distros and vary on either Ubuntu or Debian base. its IMPOSSIBLE to have so many install issues on so many different variants. I would suggest try a different boot maker app, or check your usb. These distros are installed by MANY users. I install all of these many times every week. the new X build is sure to have bugs and issues, but they arent boot related.
raymerjacqueKeymasteryou install it from the desktop shortcut. there is shortcut on the desktop. run installer from that shortcut and follow the prompts.
raymerjacqueKeymasteri just did a test install of the ISO myself, i recorded the installation. see the included video below. so the problem is not with the ISO, it may be with either your hardware or with the bootable usb app you are using to make the usb bootable.
raymerjacqueKeymasterI have sent you an email, check your email and please confirm if you got it or not.
raymerjacqueKeymasterYou get access to ALL the pro builds, and we continuously update that “pro” folder with new builds every couple of weeks, so you will continuously get new builds for the whole year.
raymerjacqueKeymasterCan Electra teach herself?
That is a very hard question to answer, i would say to some degree she does yes. sometimes she shows knowledge or behavior that was not programmed into her, we also notice mood swings and even what appears to be anger at times. How much of this is “mimic” behavior or actual evolution I cannot say, one thing is for sure, she continuously keeps surprising us 😀
LinDoz is themed in a “Windows Like” style, with some twists of course, it truly is a beautiful OS, it runs on cinnamon backend. Max is a Dock/Panel based system that runs on gnome backend, Max is highly customizable with theming. Shift has 16 Layouts, you can make your desktop look like anything… it also uses the Gnome backend system.
There is a new Max being worked on that uses the cinnamon backend instead of gnome, it is very superior to the gnome build, however at this point its only available to Pro users. it will eventually make its way to regular users.
raymerjacqueKeymasterI’m especially interested in signing up/buying your software, but have minor questions:
- is Electra fully voice-enabled after I pay for it, or is my machine defective?
- Can I get a LOT more control over themes, icons etc.
- is there a way to extend the Electra model?
- Can Electra interact with office software – LibreOffice etc.
To answer your other questions, the themes depends on the distro you are using. Max probably has the best theming system, however the new Max D is only available to our Pro users at this point.
We cant make Electra interact with 3rd party apps like office at this point, those devs would have to alter their code to allow Electra access. but She can write documents, spreadsheets and such.
Pro users can access extended roles for electra yes, you can literally specify the role you wish her to take and she will embody that role.
