Keymasterhey electra is only to turn the voice on. you can use “hey electra” or “electra wake up”
if you are having problems using the background voice, then i would HIGHLY recommend starting her up from the terminal interface shortcut on the desktop. you can also talk to the A.I from that terminal directly, and what is nice is that you can see every step of the interaction as it happens. you do not need to use hey electra with the terminal interface.
Launch that shortcut on the desktop, its called “terminal interface” , once open, you can simply talk using voice. whatever you ask, put “electra” in front of it
so if you want to ask “why is the sky blue” you would say “electra, why is the sky bkue”. it is that easy…

Keymasterwhy didn’t you open a bug report ticket so progress could be tracked ?
what seems to be the problem ? you were very vague in specifying the issue. are you having problems making a bootable usb ? install problems ?
I recommend you check the md5 sum of the iso, make sure it downloaded correctly, try redownloading it again. Also dont use unknown iso makers, use something that is widely compatible, something like “Unetbootin” or “Etcher”.

KeymasterWe have already started adding A.I to Shift, however not in voice format. the 20.04 is simply not very compatible with our Voice system. The good news is that the next Gen Shift will have Voice. If you really want Voice i suggest you use Makulu Max, else just get Shift Pro, it has A.I servers which gives you access to Electra, Chatgpt, Bard, Llama and Story Teller. All A.I models. ( however not in voice format )

KeymasterMakulu Max is still Beta 1… we have daily / weekly builds. and every couple of builds when its stable enough we put it out there for users to install and test. Right now the changes are too many to make announcements. its all beta… just enjoy it. If there are such drastic changes that require a reinstall we will let users know. that being said, if you don’t mind reinstalling, then there is always the advantage of the extra polish in having the latest iso, the little things that get touched up with every build that makes a huge difference in the end.
As for the Pro Version, there updates on that is FAR more drastic, We are working on some ground breaking stuff, Voice genration, 4K image generation etc etc. if you purchased a Pro build then I would keep an eye on the Pro build links you got via the purchase, that folder will probably have a new iso in it on a weekly basis with many changes and new goodies 😀
Once we pass the beta stages, the announcements will become more regular.

Keymastermake sure your numlock or capslock is not turned on while setting passwords. also check that if you set your keyboard to a non international standard that it is still set as such.

KeymasterOk, ill take a look at the Media Fire ISO, Have you tried downloading from a different Mirror ? Also make sure you are using a compatible bootable iso creator, there may be issues in the usb creation, try a different app.

KeymasterHave you tried installing a different version of Wine ?
Firstly open the synaptic package manager , either from the menu or from terminal : sudo synaptic
then do a search for Wine and see which builds are available to install, you can also add the wine PPA to add newer builds into the repo, maybe check out this guide here :
https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-install-wine-on-ubuntu-linux/
If i am not mistaken the latest build of Wine is version 6.2.2. the guide is for 6.0 but its the same concept, after you add the PPA just look in synaptic for 6.22 and install it.
If you are still having issues i would suggest you try using Playonlinux or Crossover office, both these Linux applications provide Wine scripts for compatibility with windows apps.
